As for me, the location was great and handy, close to shops and bars, both West Cliff beach and the town centre and the harbor area of the town. Moreover, it was at a moderate distance from St Hilda's Church. I've been here for 2 nights, the breakfast was overall delicious and hearty with farm fresh eggs.

What's more, there was Tate Hill Pier approx 10-15 minutes' walk from the hotel. All the services were friendly, the room was good-sized with all the extras, great views of the abbey, for instance.

Got ironing free of charge, not bad too. The location was good and stunning in a quiet area, near shops, restaurants and bars, the cliffs and the centre of Whitby.
