The venue was in a central location just off town centre, beach, harbour, town and, public transport, and the town's many attractions. What's more, there was Tate Hill Pier approx 10-15 minutes' walk from the hotel. All the services were friendly, the room was good-sized with all the extras, great views of the abbey, for instance.

The property was fairly clean and staff was amicable. I stayed in the room that was the ceiling was too low kept banging my head and available with a fantastic view of the Abbey, a king size bed and all the extras. The location turned out to be great and handy, next to train station, short walk down hill and beach, harbour, town and, public transport. The bar area was good, I liked it. I think the hotel was absolutely great, will be back.

Liked our stay, had quiet 5 days overall. Helpful, wonderfully friendly staff couldn't do enough for you. We stayed in a deluxe room with a view. The public parking was on street, excellent service. Got ironing free of charge, not bad too. The location was good and stunning in a quiet area, near shops, restaurants and bars, the cliffs and the centre of Whitby. Besides, the hotel was just a pleasant stroll away from Whalebone Arch.

While staying here we visited whitby abbey, which was 10 minutes on foot. Beds were comfy. We loved the fact that we chose waverley guest house. Stokers is easy walk to the hotel.
